The Fabulous Art of Deco will have a London auction house and one of the famous collection is the diamonds, emeralds and cystal belong with Maharaja of Kapurthala.

Christie's the famous auctioneer disclosed about the jewel of Maharaja of Kapurthala. This jewelry pieces are belong with Anita Delgado, was a Spanish flamengo dancer and singer from Andalusia. During the festival for the marriage of King Alfonso XIII in 1906, Maharaja Sir watched her performance in a cafe concert . Maharaja sir attempted to court her and later persuaded him to be married on January 1908. After marriage, she her name to Maharani Prem Kumari and also gave a son Maharajkumar Ajit Singh . They separated and Anita stayed in Paris with her son. The couple divorced in 1925. Anita Delgado is also the fifth wife of Maharaja of Kapurthala.

He gave Anita a necklace as her gift for 19th birthday that are made of crescent-shaped emerald surrounded by diamonds that were previously used as a decoration for Jagatjit Singh’s favourite elephant. Jagatjit Singh, son of Anita Delgado was a very rich Maharaja of India and the jeweleries were passed on to Anita as a legacy.

Christie distinguished the eight pieces of jewelry to have the unique art deco style of 1920s. The auction is expected to extract a total of £200,000. Experts reveal that one of these jewels adorned with emerald, diamond and rock crystal can get a sum of nearly £100,000.

Christie’s international director of Asian art Amin Jaffer said: “These jewels are a symbol of cross-cultural love and taste, bringing together Indian princely patronage with the finest European craftsmanship and design.”

Wooden cradle filled with 2,000 gems of diamond, ruby, and emerald

"The Treasures of the Topkapi Palace and the Magnificent Ottoman Dynasty" turn back the world of the sultans with some 140 pieces from the collection of the Topkapi Palace Museum and the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts in Istanbul.

And one of this treasure is the wooden cradle that is an 18th century treasure and one of the 140 treasures of the Ottoman Empire.

This wooden cradle clad with gold plates and filled with a total of about 2,000 gems of diamond, ruby, emerald is displayed at the “Treasures of the Topkapi Palace and the Magnificent Ottoman Dynasty” exhibition in Tokyo.

The occasion is to celebrated the birth of Prince Hisahito on 6 September 2006 to Princess Kiko, the wife of Japanese Emperor Akihito’s second son Prince Akishino.

This exhibition is designed to afford the viewer a welcome bit of breathing room, and it is now showing at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum through Sept. 24.
