Statue of Moon Man for MTV awards that is made of diamonds


This piece from Jacob & Co. is their special diamond moon man for the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards which took place last night. The statue is an extreme version of the moon man award which is given to winners. The Jacob & Co. version has 15 carats of black and white diamonds set in 14k gold. The statue weighs over two pounds and is worth more than $200,000.

Now would you believe that Lucky Strike produced a cigarette pack in 2006, this single packet comes packed with 18 gold carat with a distinct diamond and a ruby inside it.

BAT International has launched an advertising tour campaign around $100,000 pack of cigarettes that will be displayed at major international airports . The rest of the package has included a health warning. The cigarette pack can be seen in Frankfurt in September, in Düsseldorf in November and Munich in December.

The pack has earned enough publicity and invited eyeballs on its tour to various countries. At the European airports, there was an issue and have the visibility with a replica or "look-a-like" pack being offered to public.

Wooden cradle filled with 2,000 gems of diamond, ruby, and emerald


"The Treasures of the Topkapi Palace and the Magnificent Ottoman Dynasty" turn back the world of the sultans with some 140 pieces from the collection of the Topkapi Palace Museum and the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts in Istanbul.

And one of this treasure is the wooden cradle that is an 18th century treasure and one of the 140 treasures of the Ottoman Empire.

This wooden cradle clad with gold plates and filled with a total of about 2,000 gems of diamond, ruby, emerald is displayed at the “Treasures of the Topkapi Palace and the Magnificent Ottoman Dynasty” exhibition in Tokyo.

The occasion is to celebrated the birth of Prince Hisahito on 6 September 2006 to Princess Kiko, the wife of Japanese Emperor Akihito’s second son Prince Akishino.

This exhibition is designed to afford the viewer a welcome bit of breathing room, and it is now showing at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum through Sept. 24.
